Gallery Forty-Two is pleased to announce the addition of internationally-renowned artist Katarzyna Kociomyk and will feature the Indiana-based painter in both its first and second floor galleries. Katarzyna, born and raised in Poland, is known for her amazing diversity of style, technique, and subject matter. Her use of brilliant colors and various textures is a staple in each original work of art.
Katarzyna came to the United States in late 2009 seeking the revitalization of her creative process. She spent seven years on the East Coast prior to relocating to “remote parts of Southern Indiana” where she now focuses on developing new ideas and meeting artistic challenges.
In addition to her gallery representation, Katarzyna is an established commission artist, accepting selected commission projects that include portraits, surrealism, still life, landscapes, cityscapes, and more. Since arriving in the U.S. Katarzyna has painted more than 300 canvases, which are now in collections around the U.S., Canada, South America, Australia, and Europe.
The gallery is currently exhibiting ten original paintings by Katarzyna with more scheduled to arrive later this year. Her works are an absolute must-see and have quickly become among the most compelling pieces showing at Gallery Forty-Two.
