Join us this Friday, May 22nd, from 6-9 p.m. for a public artist’s reception! Meet automotive artist G. Dausch, enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres – plus check out an official Indy 500 show car!
FREE TO THE PUBLIC.
Dausch is a 1971 graduate of the University of Indianapolis and did his graduate work at Ball State University where he studied art and education. He is a specialty painter whose works focus exclusively on motorsports, including driver portraiture and on-track imagery of remarkably intimate and unique vantage points.
Following a successful marketing career in the racing industry, Dausch extended his personal connection with the sport by restoring racecars and developing an appreciation for the fine details of car construction and design. This unique perspective has resulted in his ability to create high-quality, extremely precise paintings of both vintage and modern cars spanning the history of auto racing.
